Foreplay Begins at Breakfast

Of course we’ve all heard the quote “foreplay begins at breakfast.”  But how many of us take that to heart?  In an increasingly busy world where it isn’t easy to escape every day distractions, dating and sex can often feel like just another task on the to-do list.  Don’t just check the box tonight.  Let foreplay begin at breakfast and continue throughout the day.  By the time bedtime arrives, you’ll be more than “in the mood.”  You’ll be begging for it!

Step 1:  Breakfast.  Yes, it’s the most important meal of the day.  It’s also a wonderful opportunity to let your partner know what’s on the agenda for the day. . . and night!  Of course, breakfast in bed is ideal.  If that’s not possible, simply greeting your partner with a cheery “good morning, ” having a cup of coffee ready (and maybe a bagel too) and a compliment to get them out the door is all it takes to strike the right note.

Step 2: Sexting.  This step is essential.  It is imperative that your partner knows you’re thinking of them throughout the day.  Start slow.  No dick pics or boob shots at 9:00 a.m.  Remember, you want anticipation to build throughout the day.  Start slow and keep your messages short and sweet.  “You looked great this morning.”  “I loved the way that “shirt” made your “boobs” look.”  And then go from there.  “Thinking of you makes me feel . . . ”  “I can’t wait for you to get home tonight so we can . .. ”

Step 3: Send a physical message.  If possible, a tangible reminder throughout the day can be a huge boost to one’s libido.  It’s great if you can send flowers but it can even be something as simple as leaving a love note in their work bag or sending along their favorite candy bar with the message “eat this, you’ll need to keep your strength up for tonight.”

Step 4: OK, now you can send the nudie pic.  You’ve worked your way up to it, so send a sexy picture.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be a naked selfie.  A picture of your panties on the floor or your partner’s favorite body party can have a powerful effect.

Step 5: Dinner.  Second most important meal of the day.  Make sure it’s planned so neither you nor your partner have to worry about it.  Whether it’s going out or staying in, make sure everyone is fed and well-hydrated.  A little drink with dinner can’t hurt either.

Step 6: Dessert.  The climax (well, almost)!  Make your partner dessert – as in literally!  Grab some whip cream and chocolate syrup and head straight for the bedroom.  Or draw a warm bath and pour two glasses of champagne.

By following these foreplay steps throughout the day, and avoiding silly arguments, you can guarantee a romantic evening!
